Pinot Noir 2016 Special Reserve

A bright, strawberry to raspberry-coloured Pinot. The nose is subtle with strawberry and red cherry aromas, and a faint hint of mushroom compost typical of these clones. The wine evolves in the glass releasing the scent of spices like cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, finishing with stock cubes and Worcestershire sauce.

A subtle palate, with ripe tannins, good clean acidity, great balance and complexity and a lingering finish which changes over time.

A versatile wine, suited to a range of mushroom based dishes or duck breast, chicken or pork with subtle sauces.
